Job Description:

This position will require operation of a CNC Multus 9 Axis machine. The operator will load and unload parts, check machine operation, maintain accurate part counts, check tolerances, and update routers on piece counts and tagged items.  Position may require de-burring of parts at machine.

Required Skills:

Operational experience on Okuma Multus machining center.  Reading and interpreting routers.  Advanced knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Operation of 1 or more CNC Multus machines at a productive rate, with low scrap rates.  Accurate updating of all routers and piece counts.  Responsible for quality of part being produced.  Responsibility to ask about possible problems that are perceived.  Report any abnormal situations, including wrecks, incorrect programs, incorrect routers or incorrect process sheets.
