Rifle Manufacturer

Situation:

The customer wanted to machine a rifle receiver from titanium and contacted us because of our experience in machining high temperature alloy materials.

Option:

We initially machined the part from casting, but it did not perform with reliable consistency in the rifle.

Solution:

Because the customer needed parts quickly for trade shows and magazine review shows, we suggested machining the part out of solid material.

Effect:

The customer was very satisfied with the product and asked us to continue supplying this part. Since then, we have supplied thousands of long action and short action titanium rifle receivers to this customer for the last seven years.
